1. About the service
Team Bonus Ball is software for sports teams and clubs to administer a bonus-ball fundraising game. It provides tools for participant entries, six-number selections, manual payment tracking, draw records, leaderboards, reminders, club branding, sponsor branding and read-only public pages.
2. Software only - clubs run their own fundraiser
Team Bonus Ball does not receive participant money, hold the prize pot, automatically process payments, verify official results on behalf of the club or pay winners. The club/team organiser remains responsible for operating the fundraiser, checking official draw results, collecting money, paying prizes and keeping appropriate records.
3. Legal and regulatory responsibility
Before running a fundraiser, each club is responsible for checking whether its format, entry price, prize structure, advertising, audience and location trigger any legal, licensing, registration, tax, governing-body, safeguarding or constitutional requirements. Team Bonus Ball does not guarantee that a particular fundraiser format is lawful in every circumstance.
4. Approved accounts and access
There are no open public administrator signups. Administrator access is provided only to approved users. Clubs must keep login details secure, use individual accounts where possible, remove access promptly when an administrator leaves, and notify Team Bonus Ball of suspected compromise.
5. Club data responsibilities
Clubs must only enter information they are entitled to use, keep it accurate, avoid unnecessary personal information and use public display names carefully. The app does not require children's accounts, dates of birth, home addresses or personal email addresses.
6. Public links
A club may enable and share a read-only public leaderboard. Anyone with the link may be able to view the permitted public information. Clubs should avoid using sensitive or unnecessarily identifying display names.
7. Results and payment records
The club is responsible for checking the official UK Lotto Round 1 Bonus Ball result and for deciding whether an entry was paid in time for a draw. The software can assist with calculations but the organiser must check records before declaring a winner or paying a prize.
8. Pricing and subscriptions
Pricing shown in the app is indicative of the current packages. The agreed order, invoice or written quotation controls the final price, setup scope, number of teams, subscription period, sponsor package and any special terms.
9. Availability and changes
Reasonable efforts will be made to keep the service available and secure, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, supplier outages, internet failures or security incidents may cause temporary interruption. Features may change as the service develops.
10. Acceptable use
Users must not attempt unauthorised access, bypass club permissions, scrape private data, introduce malicious code, abuse the service, impersonate others or use the software for unlawful activity.
11. Suspension
Access may be suspended where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, suspected abuse, breach of these terms, legal requirements or protection of users and data.
12. Data protection
Use of personal information is covered by the Privacy Notice. Where Team Bonus Ball processes club-controlled personal data on behalf of a club, the Data Processing Terms are intended to apply.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, clubs remain responsible for fundraiser operation, results, payment collection, prize decisions and regulatory compliance. Specific commercial liability limits should be set out in the agreed order or service contract.
